Trump to give $2.6M in cash to help fund Chicago homeless housing project

The President is giving $2 million to help the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) pay for homeless shelter and other housing in the city, according to the White House.

The money will be used to help homeless people who have been evicted and need emergency housing.

Trump is also giving $10 million to fund the new project to help build shelters and other supportive services in the City of Chicago, which is struggling with the high rate of homelessness in the state.
